Juraperle is a finely granulated filtration medium made from fossilised limestone structures. It is used to raise the pH of acidic water and can also aid in iron removal. Its unique composition makes it ideal for a variety of water treatment applications, including drinking water systems, iron filtration, aquariums, and industrial water processes.
During the filtration process, free CO² is converted into bicarbonate, while calcium is gradually dissolved into the water.
