Hidroconta’s Atlantis domestic water meter is the perfect solution for homeowners’ associations and housing developments. It has been certified for use in public installations and does not require a high investment to install it.

Hidroconta develops drinking water meters that can feature communication technology, thanks to their inductive transmission systems, with which the consumption of cities can be easily controlled by simply tapping a button on your smartphone

Specifications

For cold water, up to 30ºC - Hidroconta’s Atlantis water meter works in domestic water distribution networks under perfect operating conditions with cold water at a maximum temperature of 30ºC.

Copper alloy casing - The domestic meter casing is manufactured in a copper alloy, as required to ensure that the meter can be used in a drinking water environment.

Direct reading of the 5-digit roller meter, displayed in m3 - The Atlantis drinking water meter makes it easy to read the water consumption, since its 5-digit roller display indicates the consumption of water of the home in cubic metres (m3).

High accuracy - With an R160H accuracy rating, the Atlantis domestic meter offers the service required to detect leakages in the installation, allowing users to prevent damage to homes or buildings.

Fully dry and non-submerged clockwork - The water meter’s clockwork is fully sealed and dry, avoiding the evaporation of water and making it easier to take consumed water readings.

Magnetic transmission system protected against external magnetic fields - The Atlantis domestic water meter is a tamper-proof device, since its magnetic transmission system is protected against external magnetic fields that could distort the water consumption reading.

No need for straight sections at the U0-D0 meter’s inlet or outlet points - The meter is easy to install and can be installed anywhere. The Atlantis domestic water meter does not need straight sections upstream or downstream, so it can be installed in very narrow spaces. In addition, the water meter’s clockwork dial can be adjusted in any position for easy reading.

MID drinking water certification. Directive 2014/32/EU - The Atlantis domestic water meter has been certified with the MID drinking water model certification, approved by Directive 2014/32/EU.

Pre-equipped for pulse emitter - The Atlantis domestic water meter can be easily and directly installed on inductive pulse emitters to read consumption and has been designed for easy installation on a communication module to read, control and compare consumption by simply tapping a button on your smartphone.

What Is WRAS Certification?

WRAS certification stands for Water Regulations Advisory Scheme approval, and it’s a trusted mark that shows a product complies with the UK's water supply regulations.
It means the materials and components used won't contaminate your drinking water and that the product is built to a high standard of safety and quality. It’s especially important for anything connected to the mains water supply, whether you’re fitting out a commercial site or upgrading your home system.
All of our products are WRAS certified as standard, so you can have complete confidence they’re fully compliant, reliable and built to last. If you're ever unsure about what's required for your setup, we're always happy to advise.

Do Waterwise Pumps Prices Include VAT?

This approach allows our pricing to remain clear and consistent for both trade and domestic customers, while ensuring the correct VAT amount is applied to every order. You will always be able to review the full order total, including VAT, before completing your purchase.
If you have any questions about VAT, invoicing, or pricing, our team is happy to assist.

How Often Should I Replace My Water Filter?

In the UK, most domestic and commercial water filters should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filter, water quality, and usage levels. Here's a quick breakdown:

Sediment Filters (used in pre-treatment): Every 6 months or sooner if water flow drops noticeably.

Carbon Filters (for taste, odour, chlorine): Every 6 to 12 months.

Reverse Osmosis Filters: Prefilters every 6–12 months, membrane every 2–3 years.

UV Lamps: Annually (bulb may still light after a year but won't provide effective disinfection)

Limescale Filters: Cartridges usually last 6–12 months, depending on hardness and flow.

If you're dealing with high sediment levels, hard water, or heavy usage (like in a commercial setting), you may need to replace filters more frequently. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidance, and if in doubt, we’re happy to advise based on your system and setup.
